Have you ever seen the world through someone else’s eyes?
I have a friend who loves L.A. Whenever I drive through town with her, I experience a different kind city. The colors are brighter, the palm trees taller, and there is beauty everywhere.
I like Los Angeles. I really do. My friend, however, loves it and whenever I am with her, I see the city through her eyes.
Maybe you’ve had similar experiences.
Maybe you’ve talked to someone and were surprised how smart you sounded and how well you were able to express your ideas. Or, you experienced the opposite and found yourself struggling for words. English is my second language and I speak it with an accent. Whenever I’m talking to someone who thinks my pronunciation is bad, my English gets worse.

As you see the world, it becomes. The way you perceive others influences who they become in your presence. You can look through the false image most people present and see them for who they truly are, or, for who they want to be. If you see beauty, brilliance, and soul in another person, you’ll bring that to the surface.
You have the power to bring out the best in everyone around you. If you perceive beauty, you’ll create beauty. If you expect magic, you’ll make the world magical.
