In one of my previous posts I talked about life dreams – and how the vision for your future already exists within you.
The same is true for your natural gifts and talents. They, too, are deeply entrenched in every part of your being.
To find them, pay close attention to the elements in your life that intrigue and inspire you.
Twenty years ago, I took a seminar to find out what I wanted to do with my life. I had accomplished the things I thought were important and simply didn’t what to do next. Secretly, I was looking for purpose and meaning.
The seminar changed my life. I was fascinated by the instructor’s ability to laser in on a person’s strengths and qualities. With joyfulness and ease she brought everyone she worked with to life. She was able to grasp someone’s greatness on the highest level – and I resolved to learn that craft.
What I didn’t realize at the time, was that my fascination with the process of uncovering someone’s identity was my own truth speaking. The quality I recognized in my instructor’s work resonated with my own gifts, stirring a desire to actualize them.
Witnessing her ability of bringing out the best in every person profoundly touched me and inspired me to dig into my own ability of reading people.
You have very specific talents and qualities, too. Because they are so ingrained in who you are, it can be hard to recognize them.
By closely listening to your inspirations, you begin to uncover the unique gifts you possess.

Chances are it’s your inner voice showing you the way to your essence. Embrace it.
