Have you ever experienced an instant, a split second that made a lifetime? Maybe you decided to get married, have a baby, run away from home, quit smoking or sail around the world?
Sometimes those moments just seem to happen upon us. Surprise encounters that show up out of the blue, invitations to a new course of life that we can’t resist. Other times, they have been a long time in the making and are the result of our active questioning and creating.
How can we influence our lives by consciously choosing those divine instances? What are the messages we can derive from them?
Let’s find out. Next time you find yourself at a crossroads that could make a lifetime, check in with yourself: Is this an opportunity that excites you? Is it giving you goose bumps and is your heart beating a little faster? Or, does it feel like a burden? Something you think you should do rather than what you want to do?
In my experience, divine moments happen all around us. How we act upon them is what makes all the difference. Countless times we let them go and stick with what we know. Maybe we are too afraid or too busy to recognize them as a guiding force for change. Or, we fear we are simply misled by a fantasy and might regret our decision later on.
Here is a tip: Go with the moments that are thrilling. Don’t let them slip by. If you do, new and exciting opportunities will open up, your life will accelerate, you’ll get happier, look younger, feel more fulfilled and ultimately start living the life of your dreams.
